This study took a comprehensive approach to investigate the correlation between personality traits (openness to experience), attitudes towards second language acquisition (SLA), and SLA ability among Chinese undergraduate EFL students. The study utilized the Big-Five personality test, attitude questionnaire, and speaking interviews with 35 participants, ensuring a thorough exploration of the subject.
